Literature Text

You'll miss me when I'm gone
Just as you miss your favourite song
When the final note has rung
And the final lyric's sung

You'll miss the things I say
Just as you miss the light of day
When the moon comes out to glow
Over frozen scapes of snow

You'll miss the way I am
The brilliant petals of your stem
The warmth of tender fires
The truth amongst the liars

You'll miss the way I touch
When the burden's far too much
When the world turns away
You'll wish that I had stayed

You'll miss me when I'm gone
And the time will feel so long
In the distance left between
What was then and what will be
People drive each other apart, even though they miss each other. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies. Ah, to be human.

I did that once and I'll forever regret losing him... or throwing him away, as it was my fault.
beautiful poem! and very appropriate (for the lack of a better word) description!
